@chris Router is fine, always conected, Checked with the internet service provider, the connection is fine No provision to email during motion, just audible and on screen alarm in this model, Thanks for posting, am trying other options if any

HIKVISION 7204 DVR, I have about a month back installed a 4 ch hikvision 7204 model. It is connected directly to a adsl modem, ther are no other PCs or devices on network, remote viewing is ok for four to six hours, problem is afer that, not only remote viewing but broad band too stops, i had to connect my laptop to the modem and immediately all is well without doing any settings, The DVR too is fine, it has not hanged, the recording is good, but the same problem starts after five to six hours, i have changed the dvr, changed the modem zyxel & dlink,There are no other computers at site, so cannot have a active lan network, can any body help please
