  1. Im having an issue with connecting via remote thru a dsl modem. i have a linksys router that i have opened the ports for the dvr to connect, however the dsl modem has built in software utilities aswell. i had disabled the modems features and did a DMZ on it since linksys has its security features built in already, but it still wont connect. Does the internal ip of the modem have to be the same as the linksys router ? would that make a difference ?? snoop
  2. Im assuming, a TV from walmart would do the trick ??
  3. Great help, thanks guys ! Does have a yellow output rca...ill check it out first thing tomorrow... snoop
  4. n-eye DVR...16 chan / 480 fps. There are no video outputs from the card itself. (atleast i dont think so)
  5. I meant, output to the 1st floor reception area. No more holiday booze for me (until the weekend)
  6. Hi, I have a 11 Camera system hooked up to the top of a 2 floor building, with an old b/w monitor bnc connection output from the old system. The system I put in, I was thinking of running some type of VGA->BNC->VGA output if there is "such" a thing. Does anyone know how I would output the colour video from a computer (like a TV Wonder card or something) thru a BNC or other connection, back to a VGA female connection for an LCD computer monitor on the 2nd floor ? There is already a BNC cable that has been fished, I would hope there is something easy to connect with that as opposed to refishing i different cable, but whatever would work, if someone can please assist. Thanks, snoop
  7. Does anyone know where i can find the latest vesion of NetDVR ? Im currently running a copy which connects and sometimes does not show any video from outside of the network. Thanks..
  8. lol ya china man crafted cameras, but the whole thing is they look good on another dvr card, how come not on the kodicom diginet program ??? I would be interested in getting the updated software v4.12 is it ??? can someone tell me how i can go about getting this ?
  9. and i am using beautiful lcd monitors, definitely not the monitor.
  10. i think it was a gain control, it adjusts darkness and brightness, but the gain is fine. It may just be a crappy card, but i have crappy cards at multiple locations. I was wondering if maybe updating the diginet software from 4.10 to 4.12 might makea difference.
  11. also, those cameras have been tested on other screens and dvrs and they work just fine, but like i said i have a couple of systems and they look like that on all of my locations, and i even adjusted the little gold knob on the card itself which makes the pictures brighter or darker. snoop
  12. The cameras are from china, their focused and i did view it thru a portable tv monitor, but like i say the picture is horrible, very very pixelly and the playback is even worse but the worst part is the camera i have in a corner of the office pointing at the counter, you cannot see anyones face or anything beyond the counter and entrance its completely saturated and that camera i have an auto iris varifocal lens on.
  13. oh by the way the specs are: P4 2.4 256mb ABIT mb intel chipset (also same problem i had on an asus) ATI Radeon 9250 200gb hdd cdrw running windows xp.
  14. Hi, Im running a DVR system with the KMC 4400r card and 4.10 software, and i notice that my cameras show very blurry especially with sunlight, even though i have auto iris cameras, and its very very pixelly but the cameras are suppose to be a high resolution, they look good on other systems i have seen but not on mine (other system were using a different dvr card) i was just wondering if thats a software issue or hardware. Also, does anyone know where i can find an update for the Diginet Site 4.12 ???
