  1. A last option to avoid the T connector all together is to just splice the cables together direct ... yep .. good old splice .. join the solid centers together and then join the outer braids together .. bingo .. no video loss. Ofcourse tape that up good. It might be messy but it works. If you want to make it neat then visit radio shack and try some connectors. Video loss will occur over a distance but you didnt mention the distance, 50-100 feet wont be noticable loss. I'm at a loss for words!?!?
  2. Hers what I would do,contact a company who installs wireless communications. Ask them if they could use their spectrum analyzer to see the phone transmitting in what ever frequencies cell phones use. Maybe you have to leave the car for a day but you would know for sure if something is transmitting or not. Just a thought.

I disagree, only 2, Sony and Panasonic use the best chip sets,Sony will sell lower grade chips to all other manufactures and keep the good ones. Panasonic holds a patten on chip bonding.
  4. For one thing you cant split video, you can distribute video using a DA. I would use the Aiphone intercom with built in camera and install stations in each apartment. [/u]
