I have chinese 1.3MP low lux camera (ordered from surip - suripcam . com - never buy camera from him-LEO-now I have problem and now no support and warranty, also, I must say that this is IPSCAM camera or only software and also no support from them), all was very good for one year, very good night performance but before few days simple this camera stop to work and after that when I power reset for this camera, camera working fine maybe 20 seconds, I can ping this camera but after that simple stop to work, ping is not possible! What can be problem? This is camera with hi3518... I try to change power supply but again same problem, also cables... Also, look like if not working some time (few days) than it reset setting to defaults (1MP) and than it can work a lot longer but I don`t know how long but if I change something in settings problem again start... I can`t find TELNET password for this camera and LEO from SURIPCAM don`t want to sent it and I can`t check logs (if some exist), username/pass for GUI don`t working, also root/nothing, root/root, admin/admin, admin/nothing... don`t working... If somebody know what can be problem please tell me... For me look like some HW problem like bad capacitor but all of them are SMD or overheating but again for me all look normal or maybe some problem with firmware, maybe after over one year usage for some reason FW used all memory (maybe don`t delete logs) and now I have problems but I don`t have TELNET access to check it... Also, I must note that this is second camera with same problem and with similar hardware and same software, here you can see how look GUI (image from net):

Yes, Suripcam (Leo) is very good when you want to buy new camera but when you have problem he simple stop with answers to e-mails! I`ll never buy again from him and also from ISPCAM (Suripcam re-selling IPSCAM products)...

Hi, I can`t buy cameras from big brands like geovision, dahua, sony, axis etc...because I can`t pay few hundred dollars or over thousand dollars for one IP camera, I must buy cameras from ebay/aliexpress, most of them OEM but 90% of them have same firmware, same gui, same look and everybody said that they made them, I need to find real company that made that cameras/firmware but that is not easy, maybe somebody can help me, this is how look GUI: IM Also, all of them using same VMS software (for ONVIF cameras), they using name 'JSurveillance' or 'Intelligent NVR Software' for this software, that software screenshot: Somebody have some info about company that made this camera? Also, maybe somebody know for some other company that selling good 1+MP cameras at price <$110? Thanks.

With dahua I don`t need some strong pc but look like recording resolution is better for GV card... I must buy software for my dahua card, please tell me what you thinking, best software (features, stable, easy for use etc.) is from netvision or skyvision or linovision or digivision (selling on dahua website), from all this "vision" something must be best or maybe some other? Thanks.

I have 5 cameras, some 1/4 sharp, some 1/3 sony, some cmos, all of them direct on TV have 100% clear video (full screen) but when I use it on my 8ch techwell chinese card, software idvr4000 and if I watch it at full screen (one camera) on all cameras I have very bad result, small video (4 cameras on screen) is solid but in full screen I can`t see nothing, I can see every pixel!!! Do you have similar problem? Possible to get some better result or this is only camera resolution problem? DVR card problem or camera problem? Resolution of my monitor is 1280x1024... Thanks.

I have same software, software come from chinese company goldvision (look like in china almost all companies related to cctv/dvr/video security must have VISION in name), my card is with 8 channels and all is very very very....bad, I don`t know for card but look like sending bad video to software but software is very bad! You can try to use last version from goldvision website: http://www.goldvision.com.cn/download-hv4000.html Like you can see on that page exist 3 download links but for me best working version on last link: http://www.goldvision.com.cn/download/iDVR4000Setup-IE.zip In this version they have fixed 80-90%cpu usage, now I have 20-30% cpu usage on PIV 2.4GHz with 5 active cameras...I have 1.5-2Mbits (before this version 3-5Mbits) video stream when watching it remote but in this version I have warning that I don`t have license for software but simple you can close that warning After all, now I trying to find some better card, or better to say, better software, this is not good!!! I hope that you`ll fix your problem...

In this moment all analog cameras...well, IP cameras cost a lot more but maybe I`ll use in future... I`ll record 24/7 motion, minimal scenes... Yes, I don`t must record 30 FPS/channel, 15 FPS or less will be very good...I`ll check that cards... Thank you for all info... Hi, I already have 4 chinese made dvr cards (3x 4ch 1 chip old cards and 1x 8 channels aud/vid 8 techwell chips card), that 3 old I don`t using, all is bad but last card with 8 channels audio/video I using, video is not bad but software IDVR4000 from version to version always have some bugs, ALWAYS, I can`t understand it, how somebody can do that!! Second link, after install I can see less cpu usage, no more problems with bad audio (90-100% cpu usage) and lost frames in video but server crashing every hour!!! After some checking I downloaded same software from third link, after install all look same but now CPU usage is almost nothing, 10-20% CPU, GREATT, 5 cameras on 2.4GHz P4 and cpu usage almost nothing, also no more server crashing but, again but, now audio don`t working, no more recording audio, no more audio in client software...AGAIN BUG! Also, in this software, if I want to play some recorded data, that is not easy, I have motion detection setup and that create many many small video files, in this software I must play file by file (3-10-20 seconds files), no option to play some period...same is for backup, file by file... Do you know any good chinese made card or better to say, some good chinese made software!!?? I need 8/16 channels.... Also, what mean if some card have 16channels but only 4 real time?! This card can record all 16 channels in same time or only 4? Thanks.

After searching on web now I know for DaHua DVR cards, for e look similar like hikvision, why? They clone hikvision? Look like DaHua is cheaper? Can I use same software (IVMS2000) for DaHua and HikVision cards? Thanks.

I want to buy new/used dvr card but I don`t know what to buy, on ebay all can be good but in most cases very bad... GV-800 GeoVision DVR Card GV800 12 channel 120fps v8.3 Is this 12 channels and per channel that is 10fps?? What if I connect 6 cams, in that case 20 frames per cam? How this working? This is geovision, need to be very good card but is it...? In this moment I have 4 cams but soon I`ll add more, what you can recommend to me, card model? Also, every card come with own software and for one of my cards software is very very very bad, simple working but settings like don`t working...I need very good software (motion detection, alarms, quality video with good comprerssion etc.) (my software is, like most on ebay, NO NAME).... I have some cheap DVR pci cards from ebay, can I use some better DVR software for this cards? I can`t post here image because attachments don`t working and also I can`t post u r l to one of that cards because for new memmbers posting u r l`s is not allowed but I thinking that everybody know about who PCI cards I thinking.... also, you can simple search 'dvr pci' on ebay and you`ll see.... My digital video recorder saving video to dvr files and I trying to play it in some better video player but look like that is not possible, all codecs can`t help...somebody know how I can convert this videos to some other format? Thanks.
