    CD55 Pan Speed

Thanks Rory - We typically use these domes with GeoVision software ... and just recently have been using joysticks. With a joystick, you can control the pan speed according to the deflection of the stick... the CD55 dome works great this way ... just as long as the camera is zoomed back. After it's zoomed in - the dome only rotates at one speed ... no matter how far you move the joystick. When using the GeoVision software to control the PTZ - you have a series of buttons to click to pan/tilt ... and you can't "half-click" a button .. so you get no ability to control speed like you would w/joystick deflection. You're either clicking the "pan-left" button, or you're not ... so the slow-down "feature" makes more sense in that scenario (even if it's still too slow). Anyway - I'll look into the GE domes. What protocol are you using to control them? Will they work with pelco d/p?

    CD55 Pan Speed

It's an OEM dome, Sony CCD I believe. I would assume maybe Sony is the OEM for the complete assembly. Here's a spec sheet for it: http://www.dvrl.com/kcusa/CD55.pdf

Geovision 1240 DSP Not Working Properly

I'm having a similar problem w/a Sapphire X700 PCI-e card. Like DirectDraw overlays don't work correctly. Fullscreen mode, or having the DSP overlay turned on results in no video being shown (black screen). Video is still recorded however, and can be viewed in playback. I've ensured DirectX 9c is installed, card drivers, etc.. any insight would be helpful..
