The lowest Lux you ever saw?

do you mean to say that all other things equal a BW regular cam will have better IR sensitivity than the same exact camera with a BW Exview chip? Or do you mean a regular BW cam will have a better IR sensitivity to IR than the same exact cam with a COLOR Exview chip??? ie would a 420 tvl BW cam 0.1 lux will have a better IR sensitivity than the same cam with a BW Exview sensor that had .01 lux? I understand why standard BW sensor would be more sensitive to IR than a color exview but how could a BW exview be less sensitive to IR than a standard non-exview BW sensor? thanks for explaining this one...
  2. \fujinon have a f:0.95 lens .. most distributors carry it. thanks for pointing that out but fujinon does not offer what i specified. fujinon only has c and cs mount not 12m mount lens. To get around this there might be an adaptor to go from 12m to cs mount i guess but then still have the below two problems... fujinon only offers varifocal not fixed focal fujinon only offers manual or auto ajustable iris - but not fixed iris fujinon does offer the following f/0.95 lens. but they do not offer what I specified. Specifically: 1)they are not weather proof; 2)I assume the f/0.95 is only at the widest zoom settting; and 3)wasting lots of components, glass and $ for something I dont need as I just want a fixed focus lens. I hate to say it but I need something lesser than what fujinon offers. These are not what I want but they are indeed f/0.95, varriable iris, vari zoom. fujinon YV2.7x2.9LR4A-2 fujinon YV2.8x2.8LA-2 can anyone point me to a simple fixed focus, fixed iris m12 mount lens with a f stop less than f/1.2?

  6. where can I get a f/1.0 lens, I can find one. Any help would be appreciated. I am looking for a simple fixed focus, fixed iris m12 lens for a board cam use at night only. Does not have to be great quality or have a great depth of field just needs to let in max light and be priced reasonably low.
