  1. That's the camera, but the turret on this camera isn't mechanical.
  2. Well Ive just installed a bunch of 2.8 and 4mm versions, VERY impressed with the quality!
  3. Ive just purchased 6 of these camera a few weeks ago. I'm still testing them with the Hik NVR, so far so good. I wont use the 2.8 mini domes any more due to the IR bleed.
  4. Thanks I will check out the settings. After playing around I've figured out it does pull the substream to the tablet, and can dynamically change the substream settings directly in the iVMS application.
  5. Hi all, The live view available from the cams webpage keeps asking to install the WebComponents.exe I've done this multiple times to no avail. The live view use to work but for some reason now no longer does? Tried from 2 PC's running win 7 64bit IE 11 Anyone else had this problem recently? Thanks
  6. Just tried compatibility mode and it works Thanks for the tip! Can't just switch back to IE10, then be stuck with that forever.
  7. *EDIT* Live View works fine in Firefox/Chrome, so just an issue with IE ---------------------------- Thanks, I've tried this as well, no luck I believe its an activeX control which is only supported via IE, but I will try chrome just as a test. Cheers
  8. Hi I was wondering if the nuuo software can be set to send alerts ONLY if say the alarm is ON. I was thinking of using the I/O interface into the DVR card, run a line from the alarm into the I/O. This way if the premises is alarmed and active, AND motion is triggered/detected in a zone, then an alert email/sms could be sent. Thank you
  9. Hi all, A friend is looking to add some cameras around his house, and Im basically looking for a coaxial colour outdoor dome camera (day/night). Looking to spend approx $300 per camera, and we'll require about 6-8 of them. Basically just want a quality camera that will supply good images in day/night situations, also some of the cameras will have the sun directly at them at times so they need to be able balance the light accordingly. Also not sure whether a camera with IR LED's will be any better then those without. I've got some cameras with IR, and I find at night time that the IR light can be too strong if there are large objects within a close range to the camera, this causes a big white spot on the image. Looking at the overview & specs of this camera, I'd appreciate peoples thoughts if it would be suitable. --> http://rhinoco.com.au/product/vsxr-581dv/ Any advice is appreciated. Thank you

Thanks for your reply, at the moment we are just trying to find a suitable cameras, once we've found that i'll look at DVR options. Either standalone/hybrid DVR's or a PC with a capture card. But for now, just after some thoughts on camera specs. Cheers
