Hello, this is my first post on this forum and I can just say... you have nice forum here .
Reason for posting is, obviously, problem with my new dvr card and I hope someone can help me. So here it goes:
Today I bought SK-4401AS in order to replace some older card. I used PICO2000 for viewing and recording. So... today, when I replaced card, and ran system, installed drivers, Pico2000 didn't want to run. I tried a lots of things, reinstalling drivers, putting both cards and reinstalling Pico and rest of combinations.
Installation media that came with new card was small, containing only drivers and some software (some official video recording software from JMK) which I found on media after trying solutions described above. So I installed that software but it doesn't show anything. When starting it shows one or two wanna-be-errors.
So now, I don't have clue where the problem is. Drivers are labeled in device manager something like '881 TB'. I don't know did they gave me proper CD in local store, but then I guess if drivers were off, they wouldn't be able to install and WinXP would still report unrecognized device. Maybe the card is fault. Or I just didn't installed it the right way. This other JMK video software is inferior to pico (at first sight at least), but I don't care which software, I just want it to work:(
Did anyone had similar problems, and does anyone have drivers for this card so I can try in case mine are wrong. Or maybe to recommend me some other software to try.
Thanks for help.
