Hi to All! There is an updated version for the GV-Iview on the IPhone for Version 8.4 I just updated and it will work. The only problem is that all my settings under my Favorite were all LOST once I updated. One to has reinstall all the settings once again. But based on the Iphone GV-Iview site, it says that "the previous connection setting is saved by default". Is there still a bug? Be careful especially if you have lots of settings stored already. I just lost mine!

Hi Jasbas! It may be the problem with your power supply to the camera. Are you using a centralized power supply for all the cameras. Try to change the power supply and see if the problem will be solved.

I usually have the computer auto reboot everyday (using the program from Geovision). This will refresh the computer as well as the monitor.

Hi! Try to adjust the AGC (External Gain Control), either automatically or manually. There is a possibility that the signal of the camera is very low already (usually old cameras). Camera installed directly to the monitor will work but sometimes installed to the computer it will not work because of low signal. I encountered this problem before and had to adjust the AGC first.

Hi! I am already using GV8.3.4 After uninstalling and installing again, it will be back to normal, but after a while it will come back (the mozaic image).

Hi! A client of mine just changed their Windows XP professional to Windows 7. After installaing GV-1240 8-port PCI card for less than a day, the picture turned into mozaic imagae (small square dots that you can not see the picture). I uninstalled the Geovision program and installed it again and it will work fine for less than a day and turned into mozaic picture again. Is it the problem using Windows 7 or does the GV card has some problem? I have not tried changing the card to see if it will work with the PCI-E card. Any suggestion? I am planning to change it back to XP and see if it will work without the problem.

Your system log file is normally (default) on drive c: under the folder of GV600 (for example) . This is different from the folder of the video files. It means that your drive C: might be already full or have only little space left for the system to store the log files. One way is to delete some files not needed in drive c: One can try to change the location of the system log file to another partition where there is enough space. System log file can be found under Configure, System log setting, Set location (for Version 8.32) Hope this helps.

Dear Rory I have been testing your beta internet explorer "LiveVue" for a while already and it has been great. When I tried to change the ports (i.e. 4570, 5570 and 6570 instead of the regular 4550, 5550 and 6550) of the video server, how come I can not view the video anymore using your beta "internet explorer Livevue" (even if I changed the port in your program already.) I am just getting a "connect to server" icon. I changed the port because I had 2 video servers in one area and need to change the other one. Hope that you can check this out and test for me. By the way, keep up the good work as you are able to help us users to have alternatives in remote viewing. I am waiting for your new version of the LiveVue to come out soon. Thanks!

Hi! Try to set the "Preset Buttons". Set it from the joystick controller and then you can control it from the computer locally and remotely. This way, you just click on Preset 1 and it will go to a certain place. Preset 2 can be set on another location. Preset 3 can be set on a zoom location and so on. I think you can have a total of 16 preset and it will be easier to control.

Hello. How much did they charge you for the repair? And also, how long did it take? Regards Hi! Geovision charged before USD50.00 to the dealer, but you have to add the additional freight cost shipment and other expenses for sending the item back and forth. Please contact your dealer as they will be the one to get in touch with Geovision Taiwan. It takes around less than a month , I think.

GV-800 can only have a maximum of 4 audio input.

What version are you using? Based on my Geovision V8320 , I can open up Pelco D with 2400, 4800 and 9600 in the configuration setup.

Hi! I have encountered this kind of problem before. My first three sets of GV-1480 that I bought has this kind of problem after using for two to four years. I send them back to Taiwan for repair. Eventhough it was out of warranty, Geovision Taiwan do still make repair but you have to pay a small certain amount. Please check with your dealer. After looking at your pictures taken, the static noise is just inside the camera picture. There is no static in the GUI frame. I am sure that the card has defective parts which Geovision Taiwan can repair instead of buying a new one first. [/img]

Hi! I just changed from LAN to MODEM and it is faster a bit. Thanks. By the way, I just tested your Beta Internet Explorer "LiveVue" and the 4 channel and 9 channel are working properly. For the 16 channel, I am getting an error message. Maybe you are not finish with the program yet. The program woked with 8120 server and 8320 server.

Hi Rory! Sorry for the mistake. I mean SimpleVue and not LiveVue. I had already changes the setting of SimpleVue83 to low quality but there was not much change (in terms of faster frames) compared to when the server is using Geo Version 8.12. Geo Version 8.12 runs smoother. One advantage of Geo 8.3 is that it works with new Nokia cellphone (not sure of other cellphone) without installing and downloading the SSView anymore. My concern is that when old clients want to have additioonal sites and will be using the high end cards like GV-1480., I have to install the new version 8320 multiview for them to view. All the ver 8.12 server will have to adapt the new 8320 multiview software for viewing and it will make the frame rates slower which I think my customer will notice the difference (in the speed of remote viewing). I do hope that Geovision will bring back the "Low quality" settings in there next version. I do hope that your new livevue can help in analyzing for each camera if they are using the version 8.12 or 8.32 so that we can maximize the faster frame rate that we want for remote viewing. Keep up the good work. Happy New Year to ALL!!!
