It is my intention of purchasing an AVerMedia 6240EXP DVR Card and I would like to build my own system.
While doing research on the card and looking at the system requirements, there appears to be a lot of limitations of what motherboard you can use and the chipset.
The recommendation of several website that sell the card they list "Motherboard with Intel 915, 945, 955, 965, 975 Chipset (VIA/SiS/Ali Chipset motherboards not supported) (Recommended Intel, ASUS, Gigabyte motherboards)."
The problem I'm running into is that I can't find any motherboards that have those chipsets. I did find a couple but they don't have a PCI-E x1.
Somebody said that the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P worked for him for his AV-6480; however that has a P45 Chipset.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
