Hi, the company i work for has just got a new engineering manager and has not got us onto useing mobotix cameras, i'm pritty new to the CCTV game and was wondering are these cams any good???

well its been some time since i looked at this and i think they are good cams to use only problem i'v been having is with light and also power to the cams over long cable lengths but still very good cams to use alot better than the analog cams i was using before!

i'm using XP Pro, locking in down does look like the best option cheers!

Hi i'm installing an ACT system and i was wondering is their a way to make it so the guard useing the program are unable to change the setting i.e the ip of any of the controllers?? any help would be great cheers Anthony

thanx! all i need to do now is figure how to lock down the pc so they are unable to play around with it, was thinking about using windows steady state but it still allows access to some files, all i want is to boot the pc up and ACT to load up nothing else!!! any ideas?! cheers

Hi, I hope someone out there can help! over the past few weeks i have installed several concept pr 770 dome ptz cameras on several differant sites and i keep getting the PCB blowing out on me, its not on all of them i'd say 6/10 blow on me has anyone else had this fault or know were i may be going wrong? any help would be much appriciated Anthony

well from what i'm told we will not be useing them cams again looking into mobotics now so hopefully there will be little or no faults with them (or so i'm told!)

it was, and i just looked at my post wast 15 cams was 5 lol

what i joke when i went back to the supplier they told me that I'm the only person who is having faults with them and its my fault, 5 seconds later another guy walked in and had the same problem with 5!!!!! cams needless to say they exchanged everything for me straight away!
