  1. before i restart my router, i checked my DDNS account, i can see my new ip has been listed on my hostname. even though my ip has been listed on my hostname, is there any posibilities that my DDNS updater program fails to update my new ip??
  2. ahh i see, so the problem is on my DDNS update prosess, not from my isp if they blocks some ports. oh there is one more thing, what if my DVR dont have DDNS updater and i'm not be able to put a computer connected to the router ?? currently my DVR have its own DDNS updater, im wandering if someday i use DVR that dont have its own DDNS updater. thx Harrar ^^
  3. ok, i'll try it. but as far as i know, if i update DDNS from equipment behind the router, then my local ip address will be updated to the DYNDNS, not my WAN ip address. am i right ?? is there some router configuration should i change??
  4. hi harrar, thx for replying i'm using xsj 3116 DVR. yes it have it's own DDNS updater program. but i use router DDNS updater program. so do u suggest if use router DDNS updater program to update xxxx.dyndns.org hostname and use DVR DDNS updater program to update yyyy.dyndns.org hostname at the same time?? is that what do you mean??
  5. im using Belkin ADSL modem with build in g wireless router (f5d7634-4). i connect my DVR cctv recorder, so i can see my cctv feed through internet. I have set up my DDNS and virtual server (port forwarding) setting, and i am able to see my cctv feed through internet. (no computer connected to the router) But when my isp changes my ip and the router DDNS automatically update my new ip to my hostname, i can't get connected to my DVR, but if i restart my router, every thing works normaly. so i check my dyndns account if my router doesn't update my new ip properly, but in my host services detail, i can see that my new ip is listed in my host name. i even have tried put my DVR in the DMZ list, i still can't connect my DVR, every time DDNS update my new ip to DYNDNS. any solution for my problem?? best, henry
