Thanks for the thoughts, pros are a good thing, I enjoy doing things myself. I installed the current system myself which does not make me a pro by a long stretch but I would prefer to give it a try. Just was looking for some simple tips on hardware.

Hi all another new guy to this. I have a store that we put a system in 2 years ago. It has 12 ccd cameras with rg59 and power cable to them. We have a dvr and 3 monitors. I would like to get ride of the dvr and run the system on my mac computer. I do not know how to wire and what additional hardware might be needed. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks
