Another quirk to my problem. My daughter and I have same everfocus app on our phone. Hers a Samsung galaxy and my iphone. She arrived early to office and cameras came up on her phone after not working all night. I then tried mine and they worked driving down interstate 15 miles away. So if either of us are inside office the cameras come up fine on other phone . Its like either phone turns on a switch when inside office. -

Have remote viewing on iphone with everfocus dvr and linskys router. Works in office and when I leave on errands thruout the day, 5-10 miles away no wifi. When I leave for the day no matter what time 2 or 5 o`clock, it will quit working 1-2 hrs after leaving office. I can drive back to office about 12 miles walk in office and it will work on iphone. I`ve reset router, changed wires, reset app. Its a static ip, nothing changes. My it guy is baffled. Any suggestions?? Been set up for years, just started acting up recently....

Thanks everyone, will try to find a good quality rg59.
-
Don`t know brand name, rg59 Siamese with copper braid. About $250 per 1000`. What would be a good brand in rg6 Siamese or cat 6? Thanks.....
-
That's what I thought and have read. I`m either going with the rg6 or cat 6 this time(3rd) and hopes it last more than a year.

Have a run of 640 feet. I`ve used rg59 with power twice, each lasting about a year, direct burial in conduit. Do I need rg6 for this long run?
-
Thank You for your opinion.I was leaning this way.....
-
Need your opinions......buying a new dvr, built in hard drive or swappable hard drives.....??
-
I noticed today my dvr screen says `load system`at the bottom.I can`t use menu or record, nothing works except pictures on the screen. I`ve tried rebooting but nothing works. Is my harddrive bad?

Sorry Tailbone, will leave now, btw, I have been using my meter, just didn`t find anything, G`bye...... In blowing three fuses, this happened over a three day period..

Meter is a old fluke 77 digital, don`t think its cheap, but can`t remember what I paid. Maybe you just gave me the answer. Could it be volts may be ok now but when the IR kicks in {during night time} its blowing the fuse.Well, thanks Soundy, will continue to look into this. Its been running fine now for a couple hours.

Thats what I thought at first, but the voltage at the camera is 25.5v
