Hi.
I have the same problems with my DVR4-1160. I talked with the support and they first told me to update the firmware/software. Next I talked with them they found out that the unit is brand new (only 3 month at the market), so there was no updat.
I record in detection mode, and Ill try in manual mode.
But it is bad, new unit on the market, with such troubles
