Bought in December 2014, Chinese Hi3521 Hisilicon based unbranded 16 Channel Hybrid DVR (V4.02.R11.00000115. ...). The systems functions well with my 16 analog cameras. Motion region setting on a computer in a local network works perfect, but... if I try to work with motion region setting on a remote computer via internet ...the grid does not appear on the window popped-up. Any suggestion is welcome.

After some further investigations I learned that it works if I have an USB Memory stick plugged in the remote computer and when I download from internet the recording directly to that...

Bought in December 2014, cheap Chinese Hi3521 Hisilicon based unbranded 16 Channel Hybrid DVR (V4.02.R11.00000115. ...). The systems functions well with my 16 analog cameras. Downloading recordings on a computer in a local network works perfect, but... downloading files on a remote computer via internet seems not to be possible. On the remote computer you see the standard growing number of "blue blocks" and at the end you even get a message Download is finished ...but ..... in the directory specified, nothing appears. Any suggestion is welcome.

I'm thinking over to move to an AHD based system (AHD server & AHD cameras) For the time being...could I use AHD cameras with my PC based GV-800A?

Each time I open V2 Center I have to activate with a-right-mouse-click-on-the-camara "live view". Is it possible to have opened all "live views" automatically when I open V2 center?

It was my problem with unvc too....I just found the solution! (at least for me) On your deskttop GV-800 icon = Rightclick = Properties = Compatbility = Run in 256 colors
