GREAT camera! Good luck getting one until Feb though... Sanyo supply issues. Have a demo unit for sale thouh. I'll even throw in FREE shipping to anywhere in US! I just ordered a bunch of 3300's and Sanyo sent me 3500's instead because of the supply issue. I'll take that any day -

I'm alarmed at this forum as to how easily formidable technicians give away trade information to end users. We have worked many years and took many classes to be were we are and deserve our status. Giving this information away is not good for our industry. What does everyone else think?

What cable to use when installing CCTV for Elevators?
SDM Group replied to missmimi's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
This can turn into quite an expensive item., Suggest you call the elevator company for them to determine what type of cables exist. There is a security package cable for the traveling cable that they can supply. Also they will need to come in to over ride the elevators during installs. Might want to think about elevator lobby cameras if the expense is to much. Also for 22 stories you need to think about voltage drop, depending on where you are powering, and signal degredation, especially if the DVR is on the ground floor. I would power the cameras from the elevator cab roof. -
