  1. Hi i have been looking at a few DVR's, one thing i have notised is that when you view them over the Net you have to use Internet Explorer and install software for it to work. Now to me this looks crappy, i was wondering if all DVR's have this or can you get ones with built in web servers?
  2. Hi i am looking for a IP Network Video Server and have come across this one on Ebay, can anyone give me some advice on if this is any good? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Security-Network-Video-Server-Convert-CCTV-to-IP-Camera_W0QQitemZ350281444843QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CCTV?hash=item518e66adeb
  3. Has anybody tried the Aviosys 9100a Video Server? Do you know what the fps is when plugged into a pc viewing locally across a home network and not through the web.
  4. Hi, i have just installed a small CCTV system in my home consisting of four Cameras. I wanted thease cameras to be connected to a PC so i bought one of these simple DVR Cards from Ebay. It has a Techwell Chip and as far as a can tell only works with the Supplied software. I wanted a Card that worked with 3rd party software such as webcamxp etc. I then bought a Hauppauge ImpactVCB Card with a BT878 Chip, but i can only get one input on that card to work for some reason, i have also tried the universal drivers for it aswell. Can anyone here give me some advice on a good card to get for my needs? Price doesnt matter. I believe a card that had four inputs needs four chips.
