Avigilon recording to NAS possible?
ak357 replied to dewalty's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Granted, although it's going to take a pretty big install to hit that... in any case, that's a system-dependent design consideration; my answer remains the same: iSCSI *does not* REQUIRE a separate NIC. Again, this is the load on the single NIC in a system running 28 H.264 cameras at D1, and three 2MP H.264 cameras, all recording to an iSCSI array, all with plenty of activity: Is this HIK card ? -
And then after cutting "middleman" they come to CCTV Forum for help and all of us jump to help them wow very cool

help needed - covert IR (no red glow) at 100 yards
ak357 replied to mike_va's topic in System Design
Just curios Did you use white level (IRE) of video signal as reference point ? Can you share more info about testing procedure / Equal bright of the same pixel of the image on the screen when illuminated by different calibrated LEDs was used as a reference point. AGC was turned off. The difference was calculated as a ratio between irradiances (watt/m2) of 850nm calibrated LED and 950 nm calibrated LED, when the same pixel on the screen had the same bright. CCTVCAD Lab Toolkit was used to measure bright of the pixel. Here are detailed descriptions of my testing procedures. Thanks Spasibo drug by the way skolko tu xochesh za programu s ruskogovoryshim customeru -

Keep in mind that all HD 3-5 MP domes cameras comes without lenses have you decide what you want for lenses ? I personally would just use H.264 comes with remote zoom and focus lens look at the coverage example

U must be joking of course White light is visible White light is the name given to what the human eye sees when all the colors that make up the visible light spectrum are combined; the visible light spectrum is made up of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet light, and these colors combined make white lighting. When shined through a prism, white lights are broken into the separate colors of the visible light spectrum. Many people commonly refer to white light simply as "light" or "visible light," and it is this light that makes it possible to view one's surroundings. Several sources of white lights exist including the sun and stars, certain types of lightbulbs, and some lamps.
