That's not the problem. I can get it to send me emails all day long by pushing the test button. Not a local ISP either. Using ATT.Yahoo.com. I think my problem is limited to not being able to get it to recognize motion on the camera. Yes, u right about motion wait for ver 4.8 in June was reported and getting fix as we speak

To move Lic u have to call tech support 4 port encoder = 1 Lic

Have u read manual? your camera has FIX focus all u can do is open camera and focus by hand

If you don't mind IP based systems have a look at VideoIQ very nice to use for Alerting etc...

I tried it several more times. The system reboots in about 8 seconds, and the cameras "may" reconnect in about that period, but the reconnection may also hang. Seems to be random. I unchecked then rechecked each camera, and they all reconnected Best, Christopher That what we are talking about imagine commercial installation with 30 cams and camera dropping randomly as they wish Exacq agree and extend lic for one more year but in mean time I am considering to change whole system to Avigilon

With Avigilon Client you do not ever need to log in to camera web gui Exacq can not control Zoom and focus you have to log in to cam Web Gui after playing and installing Avigilon Exacq feel like "day care center" Apps
