Luxriot Pros/Cons?
ak357 replied to danielsan2222's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
I had impression that applications will be packed into a virtual environment, a sandbox, which contains all necessary information such as registry entries and applications’ DLL files and so on... Right ? did not try Luxriot for long time so I don't know what u have but do u have standalone Client I can download ? -
Luxriot Pros/Cons?
ak357 replied to danielsan2222's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Portable application, such as held on a USB key, is a useful feature, so this undoubtedly makes sense. And we do appreciate feedback of this kind. Technically there are a few things that prevent from making LuxRiot DVR Client portable immediately, so it is up to development schedule to make this possible in future. Before this however the only option is to install client part of the software as a regular application. Thank you again for the feedback. Common Roman I am sure u know to create portable Apps take few min I have Adobe Flash 100MB as one file and works great Please consider to make Clent Portable -

You really believe that everybody follow law to the tees Don't be silly. My post was prefaced with FWIW. FWIW, that's usually an indication that what follows may not be worth a lot. Best, Christopher Then sorry

Hmm that interesting relation How can we prove ?
-
FWIW, Clients can't purchase from Northern unless they have a resellers license, and here in CA (don't know about other states), it is illegal for a client to use a resellers license to purchase equipment that is intended to be used by the client. Best, Christopher You really believe that everybody follow law to the tees

Acti 7411 in low level lighting Snapshot
ak357 replied to swampguinnie's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Well AK I am stuck then, the Camera in web viewer is set to 1280x1024 & on the avermedia setting is N1280x1024 & I wouldn't know how to obtain a higher resolution. I have fiddled with every setting and cant obtain a higher resolution. Admittedly in the record setting of avermedia eh5116pro, it records in 1280x720 and that I cannot better either as it wont let me adjust that setting. So maybe the snapshot is in the same 1280x720. UPDATE:- I am connecting to my monitor via a VGA cable & setting on the back of the DVR is on VGA, can someone tell me if I can connect using SXGA using the avermedia eh5116pro? is this the problem? I guess that Forum resize your pix don't worry about and by the way I would tilt down camera a little You don't have to see ceiling -

Network Bandwidth Crawling - please suggest a fix.

I definitely agree, wireless is also my last choice, I use coax-ethernet adapters, Veracity ethernet extenders, DSL-type extenders, even free-space optics before wireless... But sometimes, it really is the only option. My point was, if you're going to use wireless, use GOOD wireless... I use a lot of Ubiquiti stuff, either their complete units, or their mini-PCI, XR series cards in Mikrotik routerboards (there's a fun learning curve) to get reliable results. I also do a spectrum analysis, and also propagation path modeling in Radio Mobile for longer hops. Takes a little more effort, but it's worth it. What do u use as wi-fi analyser ? Wi-Spy ? UBIQUITI AIRVIEW2 ? any other ? Thx -
Dont bother, just post the brand and where to get it, its not for me. I guess you clearly missed the part where i said "As far as I know". I do not know it all .. just an FYI. If you have something to add to the discussion, please feel free to do so. What i meant to say it is camera in my hands with board lens and mec IR Filter sorry for confusion
-
I can post picture of board fixed lens if u want with mechanical IR Filter

Ok no problem. The way I see it though is you only would be saving money with the 16 channel cards, 4 channel cards are about the same cost all around. Check Netvision though they are on this forum at least. Id like to know if they had a place to buy their card in the US though (PM only if they do thanks). Yes, we have dealer in the USA. If you really want to buy cards or softwares, PM me please. That the answer we expect from company who has dealers in North America Hope you understand my point

Sorry, the link is not working now. Try to use this one: http://cqax.5166.info/download/userManuals/hardwareManual/hik/cards/NV40xxHC(HS)MDCardUserManual.pdf Hi ak357, I only want to give the advice to customers. What i wish is they can get what they want. I don't have to give them my name here[/b]. If they are intrested about our software, they can ask me for it, right? yes u dont have to, but you did Yes and I do appreciate that he also told me of his Software when I was looking for a DVR card + software. I am currently using Netvision Trial to record 16Ch in CIF on a Hikvision card. It is the best Software i have seen so far and I have tried about 4-5 different ones. The performance is also real good - completely fluent on a Sempron 2400+ with 512MB. I have to admit that I was impressed. I am going to get 4 more cards now from Netvision. That my point from "Netvision"
