ak357 replied to CCTV_Suppliers's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Have been selling HIK Cards for last about 5 years only had one bad one (never care to return) every time i order cards will ask for few extra camera connection cable so now i have a lot. camera tried about 1 year back just hated and return after 3 days. Ask yourself a ??? who support HIK IP camera I mean NVR soft also ask about their "stupid license scheme" for each of their camera also keep in mind lots of company in China write soft for them HIK do not have their own soft (they provide SDK) they get so called their own soft from other companies -

I would suggest to ask about Horizontal distances of given object ( from left side to right side of the whole pix) for example his first pix of yellow sign is about 42 pix H second pix about 22 pix H and u can clearly see the difference just my opinion -
Doing the math. Which is more sensitive to visible light?
ak357 replied to DoorMan's topic in Security Cameras
I would recommend the one on my pix here is why Wide range to 20,000Fc or Lux with high resolution to 0.01 Fc/Lux -

Is "cheap security" an oxymoron?
ak357 replied to DoorMan's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Tip Try every camera under Acti on list it may or will work -
It is a Linksys SRW208MP and it works great.... none of the cameras I have used with it come close to using the full 15watts. My only complaint is the web interface is slow. For very few dollars more u can get FS726TPNA Netgear 24 port. just finish 8 Arecont 3MP with this PoE switch so far good

Hmm look very carefully at 1231 and 5601 under good light in his garage for example at vacuum cleaner box 1231 kinda sucks low light agree 1231 is better Yes I'm mostly stuck on the low light performance. I'm presently using Sanyo VCC-HD4000 . it is a beautiful camera and can even reliably read license plates on cars travelling 45 mph at 140 yards and 30 degree angle. Can we see samples pix from Sanyo please ? Thx
