Yea, bosch is really good at night application, but LTC 0495 is almoust one year EOL. Successor is LTC 0498. If possible try also Panasonic WV-SP306 ... 1280x960 resolution = will beat Axis defenetly at night. We use them for car plate recognition systems (ofcouse with additional IR) but it is the best sensative megapixel camera I ever seen.

Recently we have absolutly the same issue!!!! But with Bosch ltc 0385 camera. We use them for train's car number recognition system. 1 week we straggle with camera, coder try all possible settings but blurred images in 4 CIF was unbeatable)))) The problem is inside Axis coder it is looks like it doesn't have deinterlasing filter inside. But we had a possibility to change it on Bosch VIP X1XF and what a mirrecle )) blurred picture is gone.

Mr Jhonovich, you should know the history, the market share of GeoVision company and IP camera product range development and plans and tendancy for starting to tell that IP SW developers doesn't whants to integrate it.

Allo in IE to exacute Active X components. Try switch of Antivirus. Try to upgrade FW. Try to add it in NET-i viewer (samsung free SW for IP cameras) ..... if nothing above helpd.... find that man who sell this camera to you and bit his face )))

The question was whether GeoVision cameras will work with non-GeoVision software. Why look for other software? Because there's lots out there that's better. Sory, Do you mean better and free of charge or just better?

GeoVision SW sollution support many different cameras including ACTi, Axis, Bosch, Panasonic..... why you should looking for another SW instead of GeoVision - even more, if it ABSOLUTELY the same as the famous NUUO SW? And one more q Does Axis produce the SW which support other cameras?

We now use more widly GeoVision IP cameras. Balancede price, high fitured. Free SW for 32 IP cameras with analitic - the same SW Nuuo swll for money))) The have cameras from 1.3 Mp till 4 Mp, Fish Eye (360 like Mobotix).... they have sollution for making mix Analog + IP cameras using IP servers and DVR boards.

Have anyone try Seenergy com tw SVR's (NVR's)? We use them with Dynacolor IP cameras. Have a very price and q-ty compatetive sollution. It suport audio recording and VMD from camera recording. As well seenergy has I/O and relay output on board. Max recording throughtput is 30 Mb/s (for all ch 4/8/16 models they have). Also during choosing right NVR you should keep in mind that not all NVR's (Nuuo and some models from Qnap as well) doesnt suport autobooting after power down. Qnap with DVI output seems not support real live for desplay...

Unfortunatly Bosch IP not known good by members of this site))))) My suggestion is the following: Dowload the latest version for Dibos. It is 8.7 already. Upgrade it. Than Upgrade all bosch ip cameras. Than It should start work again)))) DiBos it is Widows XP PC based sollution.... we has a project with 8 of them. Once all of them was stoped because of Viruses )))) Have a fun with upgrading!

Did you try to disable camera in Exacq Vision server (uncheck it)? And than connect through the IE?

We test all p's series of AXIS. With Panasonic new wv-SP306 series and Mobotix. So Don't make a trick showing Axis 3Mp camera image and claiming that all the rest cameras from p series have tha same quolity. Definitely not. And even more if you will look closly night images from ACTi1231 and Axis 1346 - you will see that Axis absolutly not sharp. It's mean that you will see the person but will don't recognize his face at all, the same is for car plates. Gues!! if you are posting images - Please don't post still with zero movement pictures!!! It is only confuzing and didn't give the reality of codec compresion and sensor quality. We installing CCTV systems not for looking on the day lighted flowers of the backyard.... or yes? P1344 if you will point it on the camera resoltion test chart. You will see that it even doesn't have 420 TVL. It's wrong camera for fast moving objects at day. I'm not speaking about night quality)) Tommorow i will put some images. If you are intrested.

Hi, idia not new. But you will deffenetly face some troubles))) First you should forget about Hi resolution streaming ) Than you will find that audio format using in mostly cameras doesn't supported with media streamer software nor with internet player..... Not every camera will suit to this application....

Regarding ExacVision SW. 2 month ago I sell 14 Megapixel ACTi (acm 3411 and acm 3511) cameras + 8 ACM 1431 = in total 22 IP cameras. To the small retail chain which consist of 5 offices. They have fast speed VPN connection between branches. Customer installed all that staff himself on Linux Ubuntu Server. I supported him over the telephone. 10 minutes guide how to add IP camera to the server .... at that is ALL. Customer happy with that system. Specially with "thin" NO INTERNET EXPLORER, NO ActiveX web client. As for me, i'm happy that i JUST sell it like a hummer. And don't wast time on support. What I want to say it is so easy and reliable. If anybody asks me what kind of NVR to use.... answer is ExacqVision. PS I'm more than 6 Years sell CCTV IP.
