I am in the proccess of setting up a ip system. All cameras will be on their own network from the rest of the site ie seprate ip addersses and subnet. Now the question I have is we run sonicwalls in all site the sonicwall allowes me to set up different network segments should I have the sonicwall provide dns addresses to the cameras to allow them to have web access for updates remote admin. The dvr is setup with two seprate network card one for the camera network and the other for internet access.
