SENTIENT DVR Copying to AVI without embedded date etc

I Have a Sentient DVR 4 channel. On my PC I can view one camera without the date and other imprinted words but when I download as an AVI file to my PC then the info is embedded. Any idea how I can copy it WITHOUT this embedded info? Leo
