You can use any of Hikvision's 7100 series nvr's depending on the amount of video signals you want to stream, or their 7600 range

CCTV REMOTE VIEW SETUP THROUGH 3G ROUTER

a Trendnet TEW-655BR3G mobile wireless router with a usb dongle with a sim card and we have requested for the sim cards APN to be unrestricted as required. which it is. the 3G to 3G connection works but the ADSL to 3G connection just will not connect.
  3. Hi Guys/gals.... I have a bit of a problem with a remote viewing site, I need some assistance if anyone can offer support. 1st of all I have been settings up CCTV remote viewing for a couple of years now without any hassle. I can just about link any make DVR (PC or Embedded) to the internet via ADSL without fail. My current application is a first for me. I know it is possible I have even been (if I can say Virtually) involved with some projects connecting cctv to the internet via a 3G router. Now I have encounted my own installation where we do not have and ADSL available and can only link up via a 3g Internet connection. Well after plenty of testing and 4 different model adsl/3g and 3g routers and a trip to MTN for some very helpful assistance, we finally got the system working by connecting my smart phone software to the dvr via the 3g router (whooopeee) success, Then afterwards I tested trying to connect to the site from a laptop over a ADSL connection ;'''( no luck. So there is my problem, connecting from a 3G connection to 3g router works fine even if a bit slow and sometimes unstable. But connecting from a ADSL connecting to the 3g router has NO success. I have tried changing the http port of the dvr but no help. still the same, 3g to 3g works while ADSL to 3g does not work. Can any one suggest a specific 3g router that has port forwarding and DYNDNS client and is stable and allows for ADSL to 3g connection. Or could it be insufficient Mobile signal from the 3g router side. I checked router signal quality and found that it hops between 35% and 60% could the cellphone reception be causing connection issues. is there some configuaration that still needs to be done from the networks side ( Sim card has an Unrestricted APN as required for cctv remote viewing via 3g) Been testing for a week now so very open to any plausible solutions. Many thanks to all that respond
  4. Thanks Guys, this will help alot. I work for a company that imports and distributes various anaologue CCTV products into Africa. We have been slowily leaning towards I.P security solutions as this is the current trend with the rest of our market. I have been tasked with sourcing various products for our range and one of these are network switches. The one particular company I am looking at is MTN Electronics in Shenzen China (www.mtncn.com) ( As we get a lot of our anaologue products from there) has anyone ever heard of their brand or products? They seem ok, but i am kinda new to the technology ( Although not a complete virgin) Other Than the big brand switches i.e Sisco, Netgear, Dlink etc. In Anyones opinion would this MTN Electronic brand be sufficient to support I.P CCTV?
  5. Hi Guys (and/or Ladies) Could anyone let me know if there is a standard requirement for what type of network switch is needed to best compliment any I.P camera installion. Thanks in advance...........

    AVtech 672 login error

Hi there, try changing your WIn 7 user control settings ( YOU HAVE TO LOWER SECURITY ALERTS), Also you will have to delete the AVC_AX files from the WINDOWS/SYSTEM 32 folder to allow the active x controller to re install.
