    Ge security system

Well I've already got 3 siamese hooked into the power supply. They were there from the previous owner of the system. The power ends are hooked to the DC Output and then the BNC connector I'm assuming is what will connect to the DVR. Then the opposite end will hook right to the leads on the camera. My only question now is how do I get power to the DVR. It's got a 12VDC female socket. So do I just run another wire from the DC Output on the power supply to the DVR for it's power?
  2. Hi guys, new user here. I bought a business from a guy who has a whole security system that is not hooked up. I've never dealt with a security system so I will tell you what I have and let you the experts tell me what I should do. I have a GE Security StoreSafe SDVR-10-80. I also have an Altronix ALTV1224C power supply. I believe there are 10 cameras but I am only looking at installing maybe 2 or 3. I was looking at all the wiring and I believe I understand how the cameras hook to the DVR although the cords are very short and I'm assuming I will have to get extensions. I'm hoping that somebody can just point me in the right direction of what I need to do to get this up and running. Ask me questions, whatever it takes. I appreciate the help. Thanks, Sean. Edit: The cameras that I have are GE model GBC-DS-950-4
