ASIS publishes Security Management. It's a good start.

I'm sure they will train you on the products you sell and you can then share your knowledge. Are you guys a manufacture or a reseller?

Do you work for the company listed on your post?

I am new to CCTV, but not to business. From experience if you are going to buy a no name-brand item you need to make sure you are able to return it if it's defective and be sure to have a warranty period. When you buy items online most of the times you have to pay to get a defective item back to the vendor. In your case, if you are able to find a local distributor that distributes no name-brand products you have someone to go back to in case the item is defective. In Los Angeles there are a lot of distributors but I found a company that sells products for low budgets. It is (u n i x c c t v . com). If you are able to find a local distributor that will be able to back up a "cheap" DVR that does the job, I would buy it.

I have seen some useful videos on youtube of companies giving a demo on their product that runs wire through different areas, like carpet, concrete walls, cealings, etc. -
