Dear all, I would like to add a cctv keyboard to a network video recorder (NVR) (e.g. omnicast) so that i need to connect the keyboard to the pc through RS232 serial port. The question is that the serial port provided by the keyboard is RJ45, how do i covert RJ45 to RS232? Is it necessary to add a signal converter between RJ45 and RS232? My keyboard is Certis KB10-HI. Dear all, I have a waterproof dome camera which is installed outdoor, and the lens is pointed vertically. The problem is that when at rainy day or heavy fog weather, water droplet and points will adhere to the endpoint of bubble, it scatter the image. Do you guys have any idea about this issue. thank for reply and suggestion. For silicone method: Under extreme weather, the rain droplets may not adhere to the bubble from up to down. As the camera is mounted on bridge, i am afraid that the strong wind will make the rain droplets adhere to the bubble directly. For Rain-X method: How long can the repelling effect of rain-X last for? As the maintenance period should not be too frequently. I am afraid the repelling effect may fade out very soon. Thanks for your help.
