Sounds just about right guys, wanting good reliable products not ...... just hear of some people buying direct from China here and wandered what was the craic
  3. Is the chinese stuff really as bad as people make out? I get emails every day from pinny and bonny and other chinese companies and the cameras ect look much the same as retailers are selling only a tenth of the price, dvr's for $80 and cam's for $35, are they really that bad, does anybody buy from china?

    Hello

Hi everyone, i'm Colm from a small company , we operate in Ireland, didn't really get to introduce myself when joining last year as of the huge rush in work at that time. I have always worked with burglar alarms, door access, fire alarms and have just recently started a small biz doing more cctv work, , so anyway hoping to connect with similar people and share info/ideas was wandering about service contracts for these systems, how much or what ever

    Wireless systens

Hi i'm looking for a good wireless cctv system to reach from 500 metres to a 1000 max if anyone can recommend one, need 2 camera's at a cow shed for calfing, and one in same place for security and recorded back at my house, have looked at wireless systems in which i need 3 different transmitters/ recievers. or to connect a quad splitter box down where the camera's are at, and receive a split screen and have only one transmitter receiver im in the uk where the bandwidths restricted and only certain systems are allowed to use
  9. meant to say im in the uk where the bandwidths restricted

  18. Hi all, is half D1 and 6 frames a second any good for using as evidence? or does it all have to be 25-30fps at D1 resolution?, My 16 channel dvr records all the channels on motion set, so fps isn't so good 5 or 6.
  19. have a new Hunt dvr and having problems understanding the remote view setup i have forwarded the port 80 for http access and tested it open, and reckon iv'e the firewalls sorted the dvr is connected to the router- KCorp KLS 5810 with an ethernet cable which has a static IP address trying to test the IP address is open or connectable with a "webSitePulse server test "in a different location from dvr" but not sure which address to put in to test it with? the dvr network page has Http port 80 IPADDRE Netmask Gateway DNS1 DNS2 any help would be greatly app.
  20. Came round at lunchtime and the DVR is viewing remotely which i thought was great untill i went back around and the internet isnt working on the office computers which connect into the router also, and now i cant view remotely either, the laptop doesnt even connect that i set the dvr up on.. so been looking in the router menu and the only thing i turned off was I changed the DHCP server off , cause its static, anyway the router doesnt seem to obey commands i give it any more. wander is the router broke cause maybe the system/computer and the dvr loaded up in the same IP somehow (probley my doing) un real
  21. still nothing, whats the static ISP is this the 192.168. .., ., sorry just not sure as its my first setup anyway tryed the 192.168. .. . :8282 its not working either have a double router tester i'll go test that
  22. Hi there back in here now and I have put in the 8282 into the dvr, I put in the IP Installer set up disc and it seems to be talking to the router not sure about the router it has another ethernet cable plugged into it alright, going round to my house here to check see if its working thanks i'll let you know either way
