  1. New to this forum. I installed three everfocus ehd525ex cameras last winter in Massachusetts. No issues until mid spring, when I noticed that some nights the cameras would not go into the black and white night mode. Sometimes, they would kick in at 4am or so. Eventually, they stayed on day mode the entire night. If I disconnect the power at night from all of them and re connect it within 2 minutes or so, they switch into night mode within five seconds from restoring power. They then go to day mode in the morning, as expected. I am at a loss as to why this is happening. It has crossed my mind that as the weather got warmer, the problem emerged. In the spring, they would flip back to night mode later in the night, as the temperature would get colder. The cutoff temp seemed to be 60-65, which we probably will not be seeing until the fall. Is this something common? Is it really temperature related? Does anyone know of any fixes? Thanks George
