  1. Static will only work if you have a static IP from the ISP. If not DHCP will work fine. Port forwarding Row #1 Application : Set this to “HTTP” Start and End : Set both to “From 1024 to 65535 Protocol : Select “TCP” IP Address : SETUP MENU -> 5-9) NETWORK SETUP -> Check IP from network status to apply it identically to Private IP after DHCP setup.(Eng- Setup) It is not in use by any other device connected to the IP Router including the Local PC. Enable : Leave this “checked” Click “Save Settings” Close browser window. This is a great little setup they have going but is buggy communicating online. I have tried to get support from Samsung on this and NEVER received a single response on how to resolve the gateway problems I am encountering. But if you only have the WRT54G with above setup you will be good to go.
