Hi there. We would realistically spend £3000 altogether. I think the make and model is H.264 8 channel networked DVR infra-red. They are anti-vandal domes. Manufactured by avtech. I think this is right, its the only thing I can find on the invoice. There are 4 cameras at the minute pointing to access points of the yard. These are all outside as this is the only place we need to watch. We would be adding another 4 on soon.
They are 20 metre range which will be fine once the other 4 cameras are added. The cars are parked in a yard so wouldnt really be beside the wall as theres quite a few of them.
We are really just looking for something with a much better image at night. We can see people walking about but unless you knew who they were you wouldnt be able to recognise them. Is there such a thing that would give you a great image at night or am I just being unrealistic?
There is no light at night but we do have a couple of sensor floodlights up around the yard. These however seem to be more of a hindrance as when we walked up to a camera last night we turned white and you couldnt make anything out.
