  1. I am recording pictures on a computer with GEO600 card, and a 250gb hdd, at the rate of about 2gb per day, and I want to backup this data daily, to a USB external hard drive, also 250gb capacity. With approperate software, how would this backup procedure work? Thank you.
  2. I am using computer based/Geo 600 card DVR systems, in commercial banks. We usually have about 9 to 10 cameras at each site, and usually record about 2gb per day, 5 days a week. Good working systems, but the one thing that we do not have is a way to backup the recorded pictures. What should we consider using for this? Thank you.
  3. Thanks for your reply: we do not always use 16 cameras. Usually about 9 or 10. However, when used with "motion only" recording, the results are OK. We are recording about 2gb per day, 5 days a week.
  4. We are installing digital video systems in about 75 commercial banks. We build our computers, and install a video card (usually Geovision). Most installations are usually 9 color cameras. We use the 30fps cards, and install 3, 120gb hard drives. We also install a CDRW unit, a 19" monitor in the lobby area, and a 15" monitor for setup at the computer location. What we do NOT have is a backup system. The system usually records about 2gb per day, 5 days a week, using (smart) motion only recording. We would greatly appreciate any input that you might have as to what types of backup system we might consider. Thank you very much. Robert
