I'm good thanks, and yourself?? Things got a little dire here at the end of 2011 so I spent the whole of last year working around the UK, mainly the NW. Anyway I'm back now, I've just upgraded a local nightclub so I have a few bits and bats to get rid of, namely these Eneo!! I hope things are good with you?! -
If anyone has worked with the older Dowshu models(i.e. 1000, 3000 bond) please can you pm me asap. Many thanks. PTZ Guy

hello all, i recently acquired an ADPRO FastTrace and need to test it. -problem is i dont have the video central software. the system itself is doing everything it should do when powered up. does anyone know where i can get the software(lite, gold, platinum - any!) free online?? i noticed there's an app for the iphone(itrace) but currently no app for android(just my luck!), all i want to do is see if the system is all ok etc. any ideas welcome and thank you in advance! regards, ptzguy

ok... i install adata dvr's almost every day hopefully we'll get to the bottom of this i change port 80(http) to 37776, and forward ports 37776, 37777 and 37778i also set the router firewall to 'low' - i think this is where you guys are going wrong i add the address to my 'trusted sites' list in 'internet tools' - 'security' in that window i uncheck the 'https' box otherwise you have to enter https:// in your address bar - i think this is where you may be going wrong also. i go into 'advanced options' - 'security' and check the following boxes; allow active content to run... etc... and allow software to install even if...etc etc... g'luck

Hi all, Just done an install for a chap and he was asking me if I could relocate his satellite tv system. Its just a box and a 4 way booster, simple enough... as it's not being moved too far away, about 15m, would it be ok to use up my half rolls of RG59 instead of buying fresh rolls of RG6(which I wouldn't use again for another 2-3yr)??? Any comments/guidance welcome. ptzguy

Vista do a 19" and upwards flatscreen, now if I remember correctly there was 2 channels available with remote control(ch1, ch2 or pip). 1x BNC input and 2x BNC outputs... The only thing is, and maybe they have corrected it now, there was no mirror option, so what you saw was not a mirror image, if you walked to the left, on-screen you would be walking to the right. We contacted Vista about this so they knew, we was sent 2 and 1 was faulty - bad start but that was years ago, they've surely got their act together by now! Oh and another thing - I remember them costing a small fortune!

Using Cat5 is fine however because it's solid core care must be taken when pulling-in the cable, watch for snags as solid core breaks easily. As for baluns they're fine(as long as you dont buy the mega cheap ones!), there was an issue once with Adata POE baluns where the RJ45 connector was a bit of a loose fit causing intermittent picture problems. They soon rectified that problem and started producing baluns that had a good solid connection with the RJ45 connector. I would have definately used Cat5 for the longest run, if they wanted to add another 3 cams at a later date you wouldn't have to pull cables all the way.

mux16tc multiplexer burnout on 8th cam install
ptzguy replied to element's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
have you tried putting a volt meter across your BNCs (outer and inner pin) and see if readings are the same. (everything powered up) Yeah, sounds like the camera in question is throwing back some voltage to the mux, I've had that before but not with a mux - faulty cam. **SORRY GUYS MISREAD ELEMENTS ORIGINAL POST - DISREGARD** -
Ok, am I right in thinking that the power is not the issue here it's the video?? I've had a few problems with siamese before so no longer use it, thankfully it was only short runs and it ended up in the bin. I use RG59 and a good quality 2core .5 or .75 over distances, unless I'm using cat5 of course.

Yes, in a nutshell, that's all you need. But... you have shopped around before buying yes? Perhaps ask forum users for reviews of these products, I've never heard of ICU so therefore can't comment on their products. G'luck.
