Better shooner than later, nice to meet you.
-
I second that website. They reply to their emails 24 hours a day, quick shipping, and great product support.
-
I had a PAL dvr and when I connected an ntsc camera, it had rolling lines. Not sure about a PAL camera though.

What is your budget? A brand new 4 channel dahua uses idmss/gdmss and it is very cheap.
-
You can try IDMSS. Depends on your DVR, it may or may not work. I have installed a few IC's that work with it, but most
do not.

How far away is each building from each other?

Wow, that is funny. I was actually going to ask you at one point if you were sure you were logging into
the correct DVR! Glad you figured it out though. Now just figure out how to get off that island!

We finally agree on something Tom! Break out the champagne!
I do agree IC has other products that are quality products and I do like their cloud thing. I don't know much about it yet since I haven't touched an IC product for over 6 months now. I just don't like their tech support reaction time. I have called them on occasion in the morning at a customers house in need of assistance and I had to leave a callback #. They didn't call me back till the evening and even sometimes the following day. For me that is unacceptable and an absolute reason to use another company.
-
I DO know how to read and quite well. You said IC does not rebadge at all. Well what do you call it when you buy something from someone, change it alittle bit, than put your name on it? I never said IC doesn't make their own stuff, but they do buy dahua and put their name on it and charge much more for the same product that dahu sells. I'm guessing you don't know how to read cause you love to twist my words around and even when I post an image for proof, you change the topic. But than again, you are always right, never wrong and I must bow down to you cause IC software can view different cameras that PSS cannot. So that means IC has nothing to do with dahua! I'm so sorry for even speaking! Please forgive me!

^^^^ Yea it's called supportI get FULL support for my dahua products from my local distributor. Even MORE than when I used to call ICrealtime.
In fact, when I used to call ICrealtime, 99 percent of the time I called tech support, a message would come on
saying they are over whelmed with calls and cannot answer the phone right now so leave your name and phone number
and we will call you back. Guess, what, they would call me back 7:00pm that day or the next day asking me if I
still need tech support! Awesome, gotta love that!
-
Wait, I aplogize, you are right Tom, as usual. ICrealtime does not rebadge. All of their products are their original products
and has nothing to do with Dahua. I bow down to you. You know it all.
-
Tom, can you explain why icrealtime products look exactly the same as dahua products, can you explain to me why the web
interface looks exactly as dahua web interface, and can you explain when I run my IP scan for both icrealtime and dahua
dvr's, the SAME name comes up which is ZHEJANG DAHUA TECH? If my ip scanner can't tell the difference between a
dahua dvr and ic realtime dvr, how can you say they icrealtime uses their own software. I think they pay dahua to install
their own private firmware, but believe it or not, I have plenty of icrealtime dvr's that I can log into with IDMSS on my iphone
and PSS on my PC. So, why in the world would someone use icrealtime products for 2-5x more money depends on what your
buying, rather than just buying dahua?
-
ICrealtime basically buys Dahua products and than puts their name on it and sells it for roughly 3x as much as you
can buy a Dahua product for. They are the biggest rip off ever. I worked for a company that sold ICrealtime and I
kept telling the manager to stop wasting money. I really felt he contacted a salesman at ICrealtime and told him
if he tells the owner of the company to use ICrealtime, he would get a kickback for every sale.
-
I actually contacted a couple of customers asking if they were interested in upgrading their systems and none were Interested. The hd sdi would only do me good for an upgrade of a coax system so I have to pass on this even though the price is right. Sorry and good luck with your sale
-
I tried one of those cheap ptz's once and it was such junk it wasn't even worth mounting anywhere. I told the eBay seller it wasn't what I was expecting and wanted to ship it back. He flipped out on me and even told me he would never be able to sell that junk ever again if I return it!
-
and so does Mary ann, the skipper, and the professor!

The super nvr is roughly 5 grand or more in most places. An 8 channel NVR is 300-500 dollars depends where you get it.
So at the most, you can record 48 IP's for 3K using multiple nvrs. A Dell I7 desktop with 12gb ram, 2 tb hdd's, and nvidia video card is roughly 1K. So your still under 5K with better computing. And with PSS, there are no stupid licensing fees and what not.
-
You don't like my idea of several 4 channel NVR's all on one network and run PSS on a server? You won't need a video card
and if the server has a great processor with i7 chip and tons of storage, everything will run smoothly.
-
...so this will be out of whatever user's pockets I can wheedle a few bucks.^^
So why don't you ask the people asking for the PTZ to chip in a normal amount of money rather than chump change? Considering they are the ones asking you for the PTZ.
-
That doesn't look like Dahua to me..............
What password did you use when you logged into the DVR to setup the DDNS?
-
Why don't you tell the people that are asking for PTZ to all chip in? Considering they are the ones that want a PTZ?

They want you to register and log in. Once you click on a single item, the price will appear. And the best part is,
the more you buy, the less money each item is.
