The seal that comes with the box is under the cover. It is there, you just don't see it. As far as the camera on the cover, I use clear or white silicone.

Same idea I use when I know it's a brick building.

Another 1.3mp Dahua job done today!Same customer, but I added two more 1.3's today.

So we received an Avigilon 5mp bullet a few weeks ago but installed it today after decommissioning our old 1MP Basler.. Below are a few sample images.. The day images are awesome.. I need to fool around with the night though -- I can't find a way to disable the IR on the camera yet since it's installed right next to an existing IR light so the night results in a way over exposed image as you can see.. I'll probably have to find the remote for the external IR so I can drop the power output on it in half give or take..

Do you even agree that it's not straight? You never said anything?

Who are you calling sir???

The one without IR's? Is there lighting at night?

hold on one second, that thing is h.264! It must be a good dvr!

LOL! Not what I was expecting from your title! I love how they stuck together. Nice looking camera also. Which one is that?
-
Thanks for sharing, but the camera is not level.

Actually, it's us American installers making them look good!Canadian rock
American do their part too
Lets not go there...............LOL

Sounds like it could be a dvr issue if different devices lost the search feature? Did you try rebooting the dvr or upgrading the firmware?
-
Try deleting the software and reinstalling it. I have windows 7 and get regular updates and I still have my calendar.

Web server means you can open an internet browser and view your cameras instead of needing software to do it. You do not need to pay a 3rd party for a static IP. If configured correctly, your DVR will update your IP to a ddns server for you. Dahua
is a good brand for hd-sdi for the money.

I have a brand new Dahua 5232 nvr. It does not have a hard drive, but for 150.00 I can add a 3TB for it. NVR alone is 600.00
plus shipping or 750.00 with a 3TB plus shipping.

Well, considering, I do not have an issue with the camera right now, I might hold off on the AP in the building. But what are the disadvantages I have right now by not having a stronger signal? I haven't had any connection issues, picture quality is just fine, and ptz control is as normal.
-
Currently, I have the router as my personal internet source. My apt is concrete so I have an AP in my kids room for their ipad, iphones, and xbox. I am not allowed to mount anything on my building, so my only option would be another
high powered AP set to repeater and pointed directly to the house down the block thru a window.

That's the best that I'm going to get unfortunetely. But, so far since the install, it has been a flawless connection
and streaming remotely you cannot even tell it's over wifi.

Nice work " title="Applause" />Could you post a screen shot of the Engenius wireless setup? I would like to see what your channel width, signal strength and noise floor is.
I posted it last night, so what do you think?

Most of the wifi ptz cameras are junk. You best bet is to get a real ptz IP camera and connect it to a wifi bridge. Read this topic and see what I recently did with a 2 megapixel IP ptz camera.

I'm trying to save you time and effort. I've seen it in person. It's not quality and has connection issues. It will not look good at night and remote viewing is horrible. You should set it up on your table and program it and all and see if you like it before you start looking for another mount.

That camera is junk. Don't waste your time installing it.
