Remote viewing of SANNCE DVR works with IE8 but not IE11
midnight replied to SuffolkPunch's topic in Digital Video Recorders
It may be that Java is causing the problem. You can find out if it is Java by adding the ip address of the dvr to Java exception site list. Go to control panel and open Java. Click the security tab and add the ip address in the exception site list. If that does not work then its easy enough to remove the ip address from the exception site list. I did have a similar problem as to what you have described so I reverted back to ie10 as it was far easier to correct these problems. -
Hi, download VLC media play (it's free). Copy the four video files from the usb stick onto your computer. Locate the files on your computer. Right click on one of the four files. A list of options will appear. Move and place your mouse pointer on to the option that say's "open with" and another set of options will appear. Move your mouse pointer across to the option that say's "VLC media player" and click on it. This will set VLC media player to play H264 file types. If done correctly then all for files will now have an red/orange road cone as a icons. Double click on one of the video files and it should open VLC media player and then play. Let me know how you get on.

Most of these dvr's will only except a maximum of six or less characters for the pass word. If this is true of your dvr then it will have a password of six or less characters. Stick with "admin" as the user name and try and guess the pass word. Try six a's for the pass word as the other ten a's may have been ignored when you set the password. Are you able to view the date and time that the dvr has been set at.

Try "admin" for the user name and then the sixteen a's.

Need help identifying Bosch software to use with older DIVAR
midnight replied to grndZr0's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Have you tried to contact bosch. If not then the following thread maybe of some use. viewtopic.php?f=12&t=45352 -
I take it that the firmware 1008 was the firmware that was originally working on the dvr. If this is the case and you flashed the dvr correctly then there are only a few possible answers. Is it possible to reset the dvr as sometimes this needs to be done in order for the dvr to boot up correctly. Other possibilities are, you may not have followed the flashing procedure correctly, the firmware is either incorrect or corrupt or the dvr is faulty. I am assuming that you download the firmware to a usb stick and then put the usb stick into one of the usb ports of the dvr. Is this correct. If it is correct then check that the usb stick is compatible with the dvr and that it is formatted correctly. If you are not using a usb stick to flash the firmware then can you describe the procedure that you are using to flash the dvr.

UDP / TCP port and mobile port.. please help me
midnight replied to pabyadrian's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Try using angry ip to find open ports. http://angryip.org See youtube on how to use it. -
If I am reading correctly you flashed new firmware and now the dvr refuses to boot up. If this is correct then are you sure that the new firmware was the correct firmware. If it was the correct firmware then I would download the firmware again just in case the firmware file was corrupt. I would then attempt to again flash the dvr. If this does not work then I would flash the dvr with the firmware that I was originally trying to replace if it was still available.

Factory Reset of a Generic H.264 DVR System
midnight replied to madperson's topic in Digital Video Recorders
I tried to upload the program, but I got the following "The extension exe is not allowed". I am also unable to upload the pdf instructions that show how to use this program. If anyone else is having a similar problem with their password on a generic h264 dvr then check on the little cd that comes with the dvr. You are looking for a program called superpassword.exe. The program will run from the disc. There may also be a pdf file that will give you instructions. -

Factory Reset of a Generic H.264 DVR System
midnight replied to madperson's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi, As they say "****e happens". They are a lot smarter the we give them credit. I found the program that I mentioned in my last post. It is called superpassword.exe and it runs on a pc. I have just tried it and it does run on a win7 64 bit laptop. You just have to enter they date that your dvr is displaying on the screen and it will give you a numerical password that you then use as a temp password. It will then allow you to change the password on your dvr. Do you have the little cd that came with your dvr. If you do then have a look on it for a program named superpassword. If you cannot find it or you do not have the cd then get back to me. I will be online for a little while. -
Factory Reset of a Generic H.264 DVR System
midnight replied to madperson's topic in Digital Video Recorders
I did see some where that there was a program that you could run on a pc. You had to enter the time and date that the dvr displays and the program would then generate a temp password which would give you access to the dvr. You were then able to set a new password, but you only has a certain amount of time to do this. Not sure if it would work with your dvr though. -
