Hi, I would also like some recommendations on a stand alone dvr. I have been looking at so many different ones my head is spinning. Here is what I would like. Thanks! Stand alone dvr for home. 4 - 8 Camera inputs Ability to record & watch live/recorded on multi tv's/ipod/android phone/web I think mpeg4 because it appears to have better image quality Minimum 14 days record time Ntsc Motion detection recording usb output or at least ability to mark something so it doesnt get deleted
