Hi, You always have to download the video from the DVR. This is since the H.264 series from AVtech. It doesn't send just a picture anymore to an email. Cheers, Nick

anyone knows AVTECH CPCAM new firmware for B version dvrs??
nicksonnl replied to kuocyj's topic in Digital Video Recorders
I wouldn't install this one on your dvr. We have tested it yesterday on a couple of models and they all meet a serious problem with the BNC output after we updated them. On the VGA it looks fine, but BNC is nothing more than unbelievable terrible... Everything shows up double... Did you tested this version. After that I loaded the 1003C version, as I mentioned in my post before, and the problems are gone again. So anyone who is using the BNC output of the KPD674B, don't update it with the firmware Leohuandi has mentioned.. Best regards, Nick -
anyone knows AVTECH CPCAM new firmware for B version dvrs??
nicksonnl replied to kuocyj's topic in Digital Video Recorders
I'm not so sure about that Roula, it depends a bit on the model he has. I received last week a new sea container of AVtech, including KPD674B versions with 1003C as firmware version. Please refer to the link as below for the KPD674B: http://www.av-tech.nl/Firmware/KPD674B_1003C.rar Best regards, Nick -
Dear Simo, For what reason would they have made that email function? Not too send just an email once in every 5 minutes... The AVtech models don't support this function... The only thing that you can do is to set the sensitivity of the motion lower. Then you will also get less emails. You can even set the size of the object that has to be detected (how many blocks should contain movements before the detection function activates). Best regards, Nick

CCTV DVR Kit network/internet connection
nicksonnl replied to boulder38's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi Boulder38, It seems that your dvr is out of the assigned network range on the dvr. I think you might get confused by the network settings. You can set settings for DHCP, Static etc. As soon as you enter the menu you will probably see static on top (standard). go with the cursor to the line with the description static (first line) and press on enter. In that menu can you set your IP, Subnet and Gateway. After you set the settings, you should be able to connect to the dvr. In case you can't connect to the DVR, reboot it and try it again. AVTECH KPD674 EMAIL ISSUE HELP PLEASE
nicksonnl replied to lisat00's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi Lisat00, Can you add a screenshot of the email you have to your message? Is it a link that you receive and you don't know what to do with it? Regards Nick -
Dear Seanhawg, This is like mentioned an old DVR of AVtech and CPcam. You can sell them as the AVC785D as it has 8 channels and AVC787D as it has 16 channels. The D is the indication for a built-in disk drive. Best Regards, Nick
-
Hi Hammerjr, You can use this firmware. We sell hundreds of them each month and are used to update them frequently before we ship them out. This firmware works fine. Probably will most of the issue's be solved now. Unzip the rar file and put in on an USB disk. The update will just take a couple of minutes. Then you will also get more features on your AVtech, also online will you have more functions. best regards, Nick
-
Hi Hammerjr, Thanks for your quick reply. The firmware you describe seems to be very old. I have never seen this one before... Are you sure you wrote down the correct one? Anyhow, try an update with this one: http://www.ussscctv.com/support/AVC796A_1019.rar You wouldn't find some much information if you use the full productcode. When you look on AVC796A, you might find more information. The Z is just standing for most advanced one. Avtech also has L for example, which has less features. Best regards, Nick

Which DVR for 600 TVL camera?
nicksonnl replied to EndlessGrowthDoom's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi all, We tested recently some Viscoo camera's. They have recently launched 700TVL models with the sony Effio E system, like Viewcam mentioned. These models have the Sony 960H chip embedded. Absolutely fine working models, we have tested as well the gimball models as the outdoor IR cams and we can't say anything bad about them. In color mode they reach up till 700TVL and at night they even reach up to 800TVL. At the sony wesbite can you find more info about the effio system. The described it pretty well. Now the DVR manufactures have to catch up again with some newer models. Best regards, Nick
