compuexpert posted a topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
I have a new version 16 channel isis dvr card working great with 4.2software,but cannot see the cameras on remote client, after replacing the remote computer. It has something to do with the ati drivers cause when i unistall them its working. When i install them i connect ok but all i get is black windows. Using IE it's working ok with no problem at all. Anyone with similar problem?I tried changing all catalyst options without result. -

Images are rolling on DVR
compuexpert replied to sbbamafan's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
There's an option to "check primary" and "change to rgb" under the "dx setting". Play with those settings and also try to lower resolution. -
I would check the power supply,go to bios in system "health monitor" or something and check the voltages, also check the temperatures. Also check the memory timings with everest and put them manual in bios.

Isis dvr remote view problem
compuexpert replied to compuexpert's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Most of the dvr cards prefer ATI chips and the quality most of the times is better.Their flashy logo is a good reason to use them also I've been using nforce2&3 mobos with radeon cards with great success so far.No compatibility issues at all, even the speed of the dvr cards was better than intel systems in some cases. I prefer using amd systems cause of the low temperatures,so i'll better figure this out or i'll have to turn to intel systems. -

Isis dvr remote view problem
compuexpert replied to compuexpert's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Well, on an nforce3 computer with any agp radeon card the client software is working great. On an nforce4 computer with pci express any radeon i tested, didn't work. Also i tested every single version of eyemax, isis & magic radar without success. Is it an nforce4 incompatibility or a pci express? I'll find out as soon as i get one intel mobo. -
Software for DVR Card Thakral
compuexpert replied to Imperium's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
It looks similar to this: http://www.thakral-it.com/en/cpxx.asp?idd=216 Contact them to send you the software. -
It's digiflower board.

Jasper it says usb1.1 interface under General Features and under Package Contents : 4-Channel video adapter USB 1.1 If its 1.1 interface it would be good just for 1 cam,but for that purpose a usb2.0 video grabber with a generic surveillance software will be better.

Has anybody tested the transmission products of this company? Superon tw. They have decent prices i may give them a try.

I Think it would be better if it was usb 2.0,better framerate more bandwidth.

I-View vs Geovision vs Digiflower
compuexpert replied to AMI's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
You are right rory, but software and configuration is not that much of a problem, you can always figure it out after spending some time with it. If you don't have the compatible hardware then its more time-consuming to find wich part is not the suitable. -

intel 915 and above mb p4 3.4 fsb800-> at least 512ram atix550 256ram-> sata 7200 8mb cache 200gb and above, raid would be better or raptors. And a couple of system fans for good airflow. these are the minimum for a rock stable system. -
I-View vs Geovision vs Digiflower
compuexpert replied to AMI's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
I have good experience in digiflower cards & software and i like the interface.I had some compatibility problems with some hardware parts but with the latest software versions its getting better & better. Below 8 inputs almost any mid range computer can run it flawlessly, above 8 you need a good computer and above 16...hi spec super computer. The remote viewing is good and you can remotely playback the videos although i havent manage to do so with more than 1 cam. Generally its good but not the best,it needs more development but you may want to give it a try. -
How To Save an Hour (Or More) On XP Installs
compuexpert replied to DataAve's topic in Computers/Networking
Thats a good way to make an installation that suits you best, but depending on the version of nlite and the customization you want to do,you may come across some bugs. I did some unattended installations with this program, and found some bugs with the user accounts. Not difficult to overcome those bugs but i prefer the manual way... -
