Hi guys, I have been given a DS2A DX16C, but on boot up it says "disk problem. I've been looking through all your posts and managed to install software onto the hard drive drop it back in the DVR and it unzips the files. All looked good as it started bootloading then instead of haulting in bootloader it tries to reboot and then the same again and again.
The version of firmware from DM was 3.1 (169) but when it tries to boot its 3.1 (006) or something like.
There are also 4 firmware types: DS2 DVTR, DVTU, DVTX & M2IP. When I opened the lid a chip had label
saying DVTUC so naturally I installed the DVTU firmware.
I’m closer than I've been but not quite there, can anyone help??
