  1. No, I did not turn on video detection. I called to the service and they told me that this is just the way it is. Recorder creates 122MB files which is about 6 minutes from 4 cameras 12fps. So I will gonna sell my recorder and buy new one. Is there any DVR on the market that will allow me to record my footage to external hard drive ( USB or eSata ) but without any length limits ? Or any DVR that come with software that will allow me to play the footage on my computer in one go ?
  2. Yes, I now that, but those videos are only 6 minutes long, that is the problem. If I would like to see the footage from the month period, I will have to convert thousands of 6 minutes clips, which is very uncomfortable. I've heard, that there is a software called UniVue ( universal CCTV player ), that will play any of DVR format, but i can not find this software in net.
  3. Hello. I have got a standalone DVR. It records in strange format ( H264 ) .AVH. It creates hundreds of files, each one is 122MB and contains 6 minutes of footage. When I want to play this footage on computer with a player that came with it, I need to load manualy files one after other. So I watch 6 minutes of video, then I need to open another file to watch another 6 minutes of videos. Is there any other player that will play .AVH ( .AVD ) files automatically ? I've uploaded the player ( ClientSotware->Playback.exe ) and 2 videos ( in VIDEOS folder ) to megaupload so you can download them and see if there is any chance to play it with other sotware http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XVSXE49V
