Hi,
We have 3 DVRs at work -- Intellex 2.4 (yeah, I know), running off Windows 98 (yeah, I know) -- one of which crashed, and then keeps going into scan mode whenever it restarts, saying the disk is full (@111GB). After this "24Hr-long" scan, which scans for "Bad Sectors" (the little "Bs"), the process just starts over again, etc.
Is there a way to just dump the database (which used to be done automatically, about every 6 months or so) so it'll start recording again and become viewable on Intellex's remote viewer, Network Client (the actual cameras are still viewable, albeit with degraded quality)?
Thanx a lot,
G
PS One error Msg. that did come up during the initial scan was something to the effect that, "Drive D: A log file could not be read", and then suggested that there may be a problem with the BIOS setup, i.e. that it's misconfigured and/or does not have LBA enabled (though, it's been thusly configured for the last decade or so W/O issue).
