Hi guys, Just wondering if it's possible to have my 4 Pelco analog PTZ Cams (currently running off/controlled by a Pelco Coaxitron CM9502, circa 2000, which I need to retain) work via the mouse/GUI of my newly installed Exacqvision 5.0 VMS/hybrid video server, or am I doomed to get a 4-port digital encoder for this? As it is, all I can currently do is the "digital PTZ" thing, which doesn't help much at all (my Hikivision IP Cams are controllable via Exacqvision, no problems). Thanks, Jeff PS / OT: But when the hell are these guys gonna allow the tieing of motion events to specific motion windows, and not just the whole cameras themselves?!

Hi, Anyone know why the motion recording off our three Panasonic WV-S355 cams, which run on exacqvision 5.5, would suddenly stop recording motion...??? This issue is a month old, and no one has any ideas. The only thing I haven't tried is to switch both the cam and exacq from H2.64 to JPEG formatted recording, which we really don't have the space for... It's just the weirdest thing! Thanks, G

Hello, We recently upgraded our Intellex DVR to an HDVR/NVR running Exacqvision. Everything works fine except for when it comes to exporting AVI clips. Every time we do, we get a skewed resolution (way too wide) with no camera/date/time-stamps. I work around this with a video capture App (i.e., recording the "playing video" off the native .exe exports, which I can then save as an AVI file to further edit with narration, subtitles, etc.) I've tried exporting on different OS's, but it's always the same! Anyone know why this is happening? It's a real pain, especially when the only export that works is an .exe, which presents problems when emailing clips, as most email clients automatically block such files, forcing us to wrap them first. However, not everyone we send to has WinZip/WinRar, etc. Thanks a lot, Gandolff

Remote PTZ via Intellex's Network Client?
gandolff posted a topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi all, Would anyone know how set this up? We, of course, can PTZ locally, via a Pelco GS-95000 Touch-Tracker (C-Protocol). But, when trying to do this over Network Client 4.3, with the "Pelco Switches" camera handler selected, we get no luck. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanx! -
Hi, 2nd post/different subject: Does anyone know of an App that can directly "stream" DVR (Intellex) images, preferably @ 100+ IPS, over the Internet, via IE GC FF, etc...? It just really sucks having to RDP into my PC @ another site everytime I want to view video remotely. Thanx, G

Hi, We have 3 DVRs at work -- Intellex 2.4 (yeah, I know), running off Windows 98 (yeah, I know) -- one of which crashed, and then keeps going into scan mode whenever it restarts, saying the disk is full (@111GB). After this "24Hr-long" scan, which scans for "Bad Sectors" (the little "Bs"), the process just starts over again, etc. Is there a way to just dump the database (which used to be done automatically, about every 6 months or so) so it'll start recording again and become viewable on Intellex's remote viewer, Network Client (the actual cameras are still viewable, albeit with degraded quality)? Thanx a lot, G PS One error Msg. that did come up during the initial scan was something to the effect that, "Drive D: A log file could not be read", and then suggested that there may be a problem with the BIOS setup, i.e. that it's misconfigured and/or does not have LBA enabled (though, it's been thusly configured for the last decade or so W/O issue).
