Anyone know how to configure jv4000 to recognize both internal and hot swap h/d's at same time? Unit came with only hot swap populated. I've tried setting one to master/ one to slave (they share same IDE cable), but I get check hdd message. I see a jumper inside on mainboard, but am reluctant to experiment to much. My customer is hot to extend recording time to acceptaable level before holiday, and of course all co's are closed. (Beware! the jv series from Nuvico records all connected cameras when motion is detected on any of them. Kind of messes with expected hard drive recording span) Thanks

I am installing outside cameras and need a suggestion for housings with heat and blower. I was considering an inexpensive option such as VideoAlarm. Any experience with these?? (incidentally the camera will be a Toshiba IK-540A) Thanks
