  1. Hi All, I am new to this forum but after reading literally EVERY post i could google on SuperDvr I have come to here as this seems to be the biggest wealth of knowlwdge when it comes to all things CCTV. So i am hoping someone might be able to steer me in the right direction with my issue. About 8 months ago my house was robbed, as a result i decided to install some form of cameras with recording. As i was on a very limited budget and already had and existing PC i decided to go with a USB DVR (H.264 USB2.0 DVR (TD3104)) (I know looking back now i wish I had tried to go for a PCI card option but unfortanetly didnt) The system came with SuperDvr 3.11 which i installed and ran with no problems. I was able to download the client software via LAN to my laptop and view cameras anytime on that whilst the PC running the USB DVR was hidden away. I wanted to be able to view the cameras remotley via my iPhone (as i was told when purchasing this product that it was possible and no problem) so I downloaded the SuperCam app which it recommends but had no luck connecting to my cameras. I had read on internet that SuperDvr must be at least version 6 or above to work with iPhone app. I tried installing version 6.2 and 6.3 both of which give the error "LOAD DEVICE DRIVER ERROR" after installing and trying to run the program. As neither version would start i tried again to install the original version 3.11 that came with the product and that would not install at all, dropping out of the installation program before even starting to install. In a bit of a panic as I could not get an Supercam software to install I stumbled across the Q-See website and found a copy of version 5.4.0.3 which i managed to get to install and work. But still will not work with the iPhone app. After much trawling the internet I found the USB DVR's manufactures website (http://www.tvt.net.cn/en/index.asp) and sent there tech support an email outlining what I have tried and requesting help. They suggested i download the latest version 6.3.2.4 which should fix the problem. I downloaded it and tried to install, it installed fine and restarted but when i try to open the SuperDvr program it gets the PLEASE WAIT screen and then just disapears with out loading. I have tried the driver install hoping it would update the driver but still no luck. I un-installed version 6.3.2.4 and tried the earlier copies of version 6 again but same error "LOAD DEVICE DRIVER ERROR". Figuring that this must be a driver error and as a last resort i re-installed the latest version 6.3.2.4 which still dropped out at the "please wait" screen BUT then downgraded the driver to the one it uses with version 5 (that does work on my system) and I managed to get the latest version to load BUT it only displays black in all the camera display windows. I have ended up having to re-install version 5 just so that the cameras are operating and recording but this still does not solve my problem. I am hoping someone else may have experienced a similar problem with a solution I have been at this for about 2 months now and as TVT's "Tech Support" is slow with responding I am getting rather frastrated. The PC running the system is WinXp SP2 (or 3) with a nVidia Geforce graphics card so i would of thought it should have enough grunt to run the latest version no problems and if there was any problem with the hardware not being suficiant it woul not have ran any version? Sorry for the long post but just wanted to try and detail this as best as possible with the hope someone on here can help me fix this.. Thanks for reading any help comments are VERY appreciated! Ben
