I presently have an outdoor "American Dynamics Ultra VII Speeddome PTZ Camera" connected via RS 485 to a stand-alone linux based 8 channel H264 DVR. I have the DVR connected via an ethernet cable in the living room to my computer in my home office to control the PTZ functions of the AD PTZ camera by way of IE browser which works okay. However, I understand that I need a keyboard controller hooked up in order to access the camera"s on-board config system to change preferences, presets, etc. I am looking for the correct type of 3 axis Joystick/keyboard controller to do this and to control the PTZ/functions from my office. Can someone direct me to an economical controller that will work with the Camera and the DVR. I think that the controller needs to be something for a speeddome and terminal unit what ever that indicates. Also EIA/RS485 connection?????

AD PTZ RAS917LSE camera pdf's cannot upload because files are over 2 mb but the url is http://www.tycoacvsglobal.com/support/documents_index.aspx?docType=7 for the Ultra VII Day/Night RAS917LSE camera
DVR spec sheets are at http://cctvdirectbuy.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=61&products_id=167.
You all seem very knowledgeable about this and I hope someone can help.
I am also looking to add the autotracker module between the controller and camera with video connected to the dvr. Will that work? Here is the auto tracker url http://www.securitycameradistributor.com/product_p/ptz-9000t.htm
