I want to know how to transfer videos from the DVR to dvds ?
holodeck replied to AVI2DVD's topic in General Digital Discussion
DVD Flick is free and works well converting different video files to something you can burn to DVD. If you have Nero installed already it will even burn to DVD for you. -
You mean merry Christmas? Merry Christmas to all, and have a better 2011.

Need to merge dvr into single screen

Couldnt you monitor them all on a network using the client software? -
From memory I am sure you can as the host software installs Apache server. You should be able to view the cams remotely either with the client software or via web browser by entering your DVRs IP address.

how to configure DigiNet Model 4404
holodeck replied to giri2007's topic in General Digital Discussion
What OS are you using? My example is Windows XP I think your routers IP will be 192.168.1.1 Your DVR PCs IP will most likely be 192.168.1.2 ( assigned by router, if its only your one PC on the network) So access the router via web browser of choice, open all the ports listed, yes all 6, and save. So you are forwarding those 6 ports to your PCs IP - 192.168.1.2 If you want to manually assign the IP on your PC, turn off DHCP in router, and set the IP in control panel>network connections>Local area networks>Properties>Internet protocol>General>Use the following IP address - enter your details here - 192.168.1.2, subnet 255.255.255.0, gateway=192.168.1.1, use the following DNS server= 192.168.1.1 Save -
Cant help you specifically re your routers/firewalls, but generally the host end has to have specific ports opened so the client can view over the WAN. Documentation of your DV card will say which ones need opening.

iDVR4000 WAN problem

Anyone out there? -
Hi all, hope someone here has one of these cheap generic $60 cards based on the single chip: Nextchip NVP1204 I had now 2 of these cards from 2 sources, different color PCB and different versions of the same software called iDVR4000 or similar. Anyway, the cards install and work fine, but when I remote access the server PC, although it looks like connecting OK (no error messages, like I would expect) I get no images displayed. Ports on my router are opened. I get connection with video on LAN. What I noticed was when the server software starts in the network setup, I see the PCs IP, then after a few minutes see the servers xxx.com, then after some more time finally see the External IP change from 0.0.0.0 to the internet IP address. Just that when I try getting on remotely, just not seeing anything. I used cheap cards prior based on Conexant chips and using some Korean DVRnet software which I would love to find as then I can just use the one client software to monitor 3 different locations. If anyone can help it would be great.
