I have this DVR i received and hooked up four cameras to it and when i hook up a monitor to it, it shows a blue screen with the model # of the unit. If I want to look up recorded video I can't. If someone can lead me in the right direction I would appreciate it. The screen just stays blue and shows a meter on the bottom showing recording capacity I guess. We have it installed in our store and have had some people shop lift and need to see whos stealing from us, thank you. Edward

Just to add,this dvr is a GE DVMRe-16 CT 760 GB,can't get on screen menu to appear on monitor while recording,or can't access previous recorded footage.

I have acquired this DVR and hooked it up to a camera and a monitor. ( I do not have an Owners Manual so if anybody can shoot me in the right direction i would appreciate it.) My understanding is that it is a GE DVMRe-16ct DVR, well i powered up the camera and monitor first, then the DVR, but I cant access the menu, or look up previous recorded video. On the monitor its just a blue screen with a white box that says DVMRe-16ct;VER 5.21;disk size:753 GB. On the front of the panel all the lights are on, and on the monitor A,B Buttons both red L.E.D.s are on. Someone told me that you have to record for at least 3 minutes to access the menu, but ive been recording for about an hour now and no activity from pushing any of the buttons on front panel, please help.
